16 Best Dropshipping Companies

There’s a lot of buzz around dropshipping these days. Some people see it as a way to get rich quickly, while others have seized the opportunity to start their own business.

Whatever reason you specifically chose to enter the dropshipping arena, there’s a lot to learn. Whether it is market research or online advertising campaigns, there is a lot that goes into the business.

For pretty much every drop shipper out there, the first thing they have to figure out is where they are going to get their products from. After all, you can’t have a store if you don’t have anything to sell.

We set out to create this list with that in mind. What follows are some of the best (and maybe some of the not-so-best) dropshipping companies out there.

These are the brands you will turn to, to get your products out to your customers; these are the companies you will contact when something goes wrong; and these are the organizations that will help make your job easy or make it excruciatingly difficult.

So read carefully and enjoy the ride!

Best Dropshipping Companies

1. Salehoo

Salehoo’s biggest benefit is just how much variety it offers.

The company has a huge network with more than 8,000 vetted companies offering access to more than 2.5 million products.

The platform is extremely user friendly, which makes finding products easy and painless. You just have to type the item you’re looking for into the search bar and Salehoo will find the relevant suppliers.

Indeed, Salehoo has proven itself an integral part to the success of many businesses.

Additionally, all of the company’s suppliers have been verified so you don’t have to worry about their legitimacy.

Salehoo has also received praise for its customer support and educational resources. Users can take advantage of the company’s Market Research Lab to help determine what the hot items are currently and help you sell them.

The community forum is an excellent place to talk with other drop shoppers and help exchange ideas.

The one drawback may be that Salehoo doesn’t offer a free trial version. However, pricing starts at a comparatively low $67 per year, making it one of the most affordable dropshipping providers on this list.

The company also offers a 60-day money back guarantee. So if you find you’re not happy with the product, you can get your cash back and invest it elsewhere.

Salehoo’s abundance of products can be a little daunting as well. Sifting through the seemingly endless stream of merchandise can be a little exhausting and you might miss something that could be interesting to your customers.

And while that training information might be a lot to take in all at once, you can always get in touch with the support team to help you clarify any questions or direct you towards the proper resources.

2. Worldwide Brands

This Florida-based company was founded in 1999. Worldwide Brands is not an actual supplier and doesn’t actually sell any products. Instead, the company is a wholesale directory service to help connect you to products and suppliers.

But with over 9,000 suppliers, the company has one of the biggest directories out there, giving you access to over 16 million products.

While the company ensures a rigorous certification process for every supplier on its directory, it also continues working on finding and listing new suppliers.

Over time, that means the company will be providing more and more products for you to take advantage of.

Worldwide Brands is a bit of an anomaly in the industry, given that it has a one-time fee to use its services. However, that price tag isn’t necessarily cheap.

A payment of $197 will get you access to their directory. Meanwhile, note that their pricing is subject to change. Hence, you should check out their website for the current pricing information.

While that may seem a hefty price to pay, if you paid the entire amount, you have 60 days to cancel your account and receive a full refund. If you choose to pay in installments, you have 30 days to get your money back.

As far as functionality is concerned, and given that the company has positioned itself as more of a directory, Worldwide Brands does lack many of the features that other dropshipping services provide.

For example, there aren’t automated listing tools, custom file uploads, or website building packages.

The company has also been known to try and upsell its clients after they sign up. So be prepared to receive notifications about special offers, coaching tools, and other products.

Over 16 million authentic products, direct communication with wholesalers, unbelievably low prices, & more, Worldwide Brands is the answer to your dropshipping needs.

3. AliDropship

AliDropship brings together two of the web’s most powerful and effective tools: AliExpress and WordPress.

This plugin will help you convert your WordPress page into an online dropshipping store by using AliExpress. That makes it a great entry-level tool for burgeoning entrepreneurs looking to get into the business.

The key feature here is the ability to browse the products listed on AliExpress and import them directly to your store. With different integrated filters, you can more easily find the products you want and get them posted quickly.

The application includes auto updates for things like product information, fulfilled orders, and tracking of shipments.

The auto update feature also ensures that no ‘out of stock’ items can be listed for sale. It does that by keeping track of what’s in stock, price changes, and any other change in information from AliExpress.

You can also keep as many products as you like on your online store, as there is no limit on the number of products that the plugin can import.

Orders are fulfilled automatically, meaning there’s no manual process required from you when an order comes in.

One of our favorite features is the order tracking service. Clients can track their orders with a tracking ID.

When they click on the tracking ID in their email or the tracking page on your website, they’re redirected to a tracking service website. This gives clients peace of mind knowing their order is on its way.

AliDropship also offers built-in marketing tools known as add-ons to help you bolster your sales numbers and conversions. These include email lists, discount coupons, abandoned cart notifications, and more.

AliDropship also provides affordable web hosting at $48 a year. Or you can order a custom web store with professional themes.

Of the few drawbacks we noticed about the service:

If you’re unfamiliar with WordPress, it can be difficult to get a handle on the application. You also need a very reliable host to handle your eCommerce business.

The AliDropship plugin only supports built-in themes, meaning there is only so much you can do when it comes to design and overall look.

4. Spocket

This database app connects directly to your Shopify store, allowing you to search items by country and build an inventory of respectable products.

The biggest bonus in searching by country is that you can find products that will ship from within the same territory as the buyer, rather than from China. That cuts down slow shipping speeds and helps build trust with your clients.

You simply need to scrutinize Spocket’s catalog of products until you find one you want to sell, from there it’s just a couple of clicks to add it to your store.

Spocket has tiered pricing, which makes it a great entry point for new dropshippers. The Basic plan is free and it allows you to only browse their product catalog.

However, the Starter plan which costs $24.99 per month gives you 25 products with unlimited orders. The next plan is Pro at $49.99 each month with 250 products and branded invoicing.

The Empire plan gives you 10,000 products for $99.99 a month.

While being able to ship from the US and EU has a lot of benefits, it also means the individual products themselves might be more expensive compared to other dropshipping suppliers.

5. Doba

Doba has received a reputation as one of the most comprehensive dropshipping services available today. And that reputation is well earned.

The company has one of the largest product offerings available right now, aggregating more than 277 thousand products from hundreds of suppliers.

Doba has also garnered praise thanks to its user interface, which makes it extra useful for anyone who might not be technologically handy.

Indeed, the detailed directory of manufacturers and wholesalers would be enough to turn heads, but it also offers a platform to easily add products you want to your site, avoiding the need to connect with multiple suppliers yourself.

Doba contacts the supplier for you and delivers the order to your customers, which removes the trouble of dealing with various suppliers yourself.

You will also receive email updates about supplier discounts, trending or seasonal products, and new suppliers in various categories. This allows you to stay up to date on what people are looking for and adjust your catalog accordingly.

That said, while Doba’s strength comes from its vast network of suppliers, that also means there can be a big discrepancy regarding the shipping time depending on where the product originates from.

Doba has three pricing options: Startup, Business and Enterprise plans.

6. US Direct

If your dropshipping marking is in the United States, US Direct is one of the best dropshipping tools you can use. With this tool, you can source quality products from top US suppliers.

US Direct works with Inventory Source. As a result, it integrates with many eCommerce platforms and online stores.

Some popular ones include Amazon, eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and BigCommerce.

Notably, the native support for WooCommerce makes the US Direct an ideal dropshipping platform for WordPress users. In addition, the platform is 100 percent free to use, but you may need to pay a subscription to Inventory Source.

After signing up, you can immediately start uploading and syncing products to your dropshipping store.

When you get an order, it automatically gets to US Direct and they’ll match your order with the best US supplier for the best price.

Afterward, the US supplier will ship the product to your customer. You don’t have to worry about unreliable suppliers and long shipping times when you use US Direct.

US Direct features suppliers in various product niches. Some of the top niches include camping and outdoors, clothing apparel, pet supplies, beauty & fragrance, and home & grocery.

The downside of using this dropshipping company is that you can only target US customers. If your dropshipping store attracts international buyers, you can’t depend on US Direct.

If you have any issues with using the US Direct platform, you can contact the support team by submitting a contact form.

7. Printful

One of the most popular models of dropshipping is print on demand, and for such a model, Printful is one of the best companies on the internet. It works just like any other dropshipping business – as you sell without inventory.

You can create and sell custom products with Printful. The platform is free, without any subscription or pre charges. You only pay the base price of products after your customer makes an order.

Notably, you can set the selling price at any amount. Therefore, you are in total control of your profit, irrespective of the products’ base prices.

Printful ships more than a million dropshipping print on demand products per month. You can rely on the county to deliver to customers in different countries. The service isn’t limited to a particular region.

The company has warehouses in Los Angeles, Toronto, Tijuana, Dallas, Birmingham, Charlotte, Riga, and Barcelona. As a result, most shipping is across North America and Europe.

Furthermore, the Printful catalog boasts various products. The top products include men’s clothing, women’s clothing, hats, accessories, kid’s clothing, and home & living products.

You can dropship products from popular brands like Bella + Canvas, BagBase, Champion, Gildan, and Adidas to name a few. Aside from ensuring your products get to your customers, Printful also offers warehousing services.

You can order multiple and store products, even without having customer orders. That way, you can skip the production wait time whenever your customers place their orders. The products get shipped immediately, which guarantees faster delivery.

8. Dropified

Dropified came into existence in 2015. Back then, the service was known as Shopified and it promised to streamline product sourcing and order fulfillment for eCommerce businesses.

While the name may have changed, the company has stayed true to its stated goal. It now boasts more than 280,000 satisfied users and a host of services to help you grow your business.

But there is no proprietary Dropified marketplace, instead, this app makes it easy to populate your store with items and process your orders through AliExpress.

Some key features include:

  • Store Manager: Allows you to upload products and process orders. Notably, you are able to manage multiple stores through the Dropified dashboard.
  • Automated Product Imports: This feature makes it easy to publish products to your store. Just one click and the product is listed on your site. This also connects your offerings to the company to ensure automated order fulfillment.
  • Automated Order Fulfillment: This quickly places your client’s order with AliExpress. Forms are automatically filled out with all of the shipping details, and it even solves captchas, minimizing the amount of work you have to do.
  • Sync Existing Products: You can import all of your existing stores’ products into the app.
  • Bulk Product Management: You’re able to edit details like price, category, or weight for many items at the same time.

Other features include things like an image editor, product bundling, vendor switching, and many, many more.

Ultimately, this company provides a lot of advanced features and a comprehensive list of dropshipping solutions for entrepreneurs. However, it does integrate best with AliExpress.

Indeed, some of the features work exclusively with the AliExpress marketplace. That’s great news if you tend to source most of your products from there, but if you also sell through Shopify, WooCommerce, or other companies, you might run into some problems.

9. Wholesale2B

Wholesale2B has set up a slightly different system from many of its competitors.

To begin with, the company requires you to sign up for a plan. You aren’t charged anything for signing up and are then able to browse the product database.

Wholesale2B makes its money by charging a small commission on whatever you sell. So if someone buys from your site, Wholesale2B takes its cut, and sends the product directly to the customer.

And Wholesale2B’s database is quite extensive. The company claims to have access to more than 1 million products.

You can also add products to your watchlist and get a notification any time the inventory starts to run low. This helps you keep track of what’s in stock and helps you avoid disappointing customers.

There are several plans to choose from and they offer different benefits depending on if you want to sell on Amazon, eBay, or your own store. Here’s a snapshot of the Wholesale2B’s pricing models:

The company has received criticism for its lack of customer support. You can’t reach them by phone or email, instead, you have to raise a ticket with them. That can be a slow process.

You should also look elsewhere if you’re interested in analytics. Wholesale2B doesn’t provide many options when it comes to researching your sales or the performance of the products you’re selling.

10. Sunrise Wholesale

With its access to more than 30,000 brand products and an easily searchable database, this service is ideal for anyone who wants to integrate with eBay or Amazon.

Of course, Sunrise Wholesale also allows you to create your own website. But the export of products, including images and descriptions, from eBay and Amazon, makes this an ideal choice.

Sunrise Wholesale also integrates with Shopify and BigCommerce. So it provides plenty of ways for you to get started with your business.

While companies like Wholesale2B shy away from analytics, Sunrise offers a number of tools to analyze the products you’re selling in order to help you better understand the market and adjust your prices or marketing campaigns.

The service comes with a 7-day free trial so you can see all of the products and the various features available to clients. Afterwards, a monthly membership will cost $49.00.

However, Sunrise Wholesale’s catalog is comparatively smaller than many of the other suppliers on this list. The company also charges a 20 percent restocking fee for non-defective products that have been returned.

And as any drop shipper knows, returns have the potential to really hurt your bottom line.

11. Wholesale Central

Let’s be honest, Wholesale Central’s website leaves a lot to be desired. It’s cluttered and kind of boring to look at.

But it makes up for that with its filtration tool, allowing you to browse categories like clothing, electronics, military goods, cell phone accessories, and more.

Indeed, Wholesale Central has more than 700,000 items listed from more than 1400 trusted wholesale providers.

Once you find a dropshipping company you’d like to order from, you’re sent to the manufacturer’s website. That means you avoid dealing with middle men and are instead talking directly to the source.

The site also boasts a “Deals & Steals” Section where new deals and promotions are posted daily by approved wholesale suppliers from within the company’s directory.

While the company previously had tiered pricing options, now it’s completely free to use Wholesale Central’s services.

The company appears to make most of its money from advertising – hence the cluttered look of the site.

12. CJ Dropshipping

CJ Dropshipping is a dropshipping company gaining popularity due to its similarity with AliExpress. The company prides itself as one of China’s most reliable dropshipping companies.

As a one-stop shop for dropshipping operations, CJ Dropshipping has everything you need to get started. It’s a unified system that handles tasks like finding products to sell, taking orders, and delivering them.

You can use the platform on eCommerce marketplaces like Shopify and WooCommerce as well as on marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, Lazada, and Shopee.

CJ Dropshipping operates a production studio where they film advertisements for their products, and you are welcome to use these clips in your marketing efforts at no cost. You don’t get such an option with many other dropshipping companies.

dropshipping is free with CJ Dropshipping, just like it is with AliExpress – you don’t pay subscriptions. In addition, its prices are often lower than AliExpress or eBay. However, you may have to pay warehousing service fees and others.

Primarily, there’s no warehousing fee if the products are already in or can be obtained from a CJ warehouse. Dropshipping from their warehouses will, however, incur product fees and shipping expenses.

CJ allows its merchants to choose from a number of different delivery companies, but recommends the native delivery service, CJ Packet, as the most reliable option.

You must pay the shipping fee when ordering a product with CJ Dropshipping. It’s charged along with the product base price.

Your shipping warehouse and your customer’s location are the primary factors that influence shipping costs and times.

13. Megagoods

Megagoods stated aim is to offer efficiency, quality, and reliability. Essentially, the company has set out to simplify the dropshipping model.

The company specializes in video games and other consumer electronics throughout 55 different categories.

While the website isn’t necessarily fancy or modern looking, Megagoods does offer a large selection of brand names alongside fast processing and private label shipping.

Indeed, at $14.99 per month, Megagoods offers one of the lowest monthly subscription fees you’ll find on this list. That can balance out the potential lack of products, research tools, or other features.

While you may not be able to offer as many items for sale or analyze your market as effectively as with other companies on this list, it does offer a low cost, low barrier to entry.

If you’re interested in dealing in consumer electronics, this is the option for you.

There are some other downsides to the service, including a lack of integration with other eCommerce marketplaces or stores.

Still, the 30-day free trial period makes this an avenue at least worst exploring for budding entrepreneurs.

14. National Dropshippers

Let’s shift our attention to National Dropshippers.

This company offers some of the fastest shipping speeds on this list – delivering products within one to three days.

The company’s low budget design doesn’t necessarily instill confidence in us, but with around 250,000 items and a 7-day free trial, there isn’t much to lose in just trying it out.

The company offers products in a variety of categories and boasts many back-end and inventory features that should be attractive to most drop shippers. The site allows you to export products, images, and descriptions to whichever marketplace, store, or website you plan on selling your products from.

If that doesn’t work for you, you can pay them to make your own eCommerce site for the price of $299. Besides that, there are a number of payment options.

The Monthly Wholesale Membership starts at $23.99 per month, and from there, the prices rise as you can see:

Still, National Dropshipper tends to come up wanting in areas like analytics and research tools. This can make it difficult to test out what’s working and what isn’t and to adjust accordingly.

Another problem is that it doesn’t notify you when new products are available. On top of that, there isn’t any automation to speak of and you’ll have to log on to the National Dropshippers website and enter the sales manually.

15. Inventory Source

If you’re looking for a large catalog of products and items to sell, Inventory Source is the place to be.

The company offers you access to around 1 million products from over 230 different suppliers.

Inventory Source will help you build a website if you don’t already have one. It also includes tools that let you automatically export products to your marketplace, including descriptions and images.

Inventory Source does offer a free plan, but it’s pretty basic. Essentially you’re given access to the list of suppliers who you then have to contact yourself if you want anything.

The company also doesn’t offer a complete catalog of all its available products on its website with this price point. Other paid plans allow you to combine products from multiple suppliers into a single data feed.

The variety of suppliers also makes it hard to guarantee when exactly your products will reach the end customer thanks to the discrepancies in shipping speeds.

But if you’re interested in setting up your own relationships with your suppliers, Inventory Source says it will help facilitate that.

One of the biggest drawbacks – and one of the criticisms you’ll see hurled at the company the most – is that it charges you for each supplier you use.

You pay a pre-set monthly cost for your first supplier, after that you pay a decreasingly smaller rate for every supplier you add. Rates vary depending on the plan.

Restocking fees, shipping and handling costs, and other fees can vary depending on which suppliers you ultimately end up working with.

16. DHgate

DHgate draws its strength from its Chinese suppliers.

The company has more than a million of them in its catalog. However, there have been a lot of misgivings surrounding some of these suppliers so make sure to check user ratings and feedback.

If it looks like it could be an imitation or a knock-off, or if it looks cheaply made, do your due diligence. You should also be ready to deal with slow shipping times since the products are coming from so far away.

There have also been stories of people receiving items with their accompanying packaging completely unassembled.

But the company seems to be working to stem some of these concerns. It now offers Buyer Protection and its own app for making purchases, but given some of the low reviews and questionable history of this company, make sure to proceed with caution.

Conclusion

Whether you decide to go with companies like Salehoo and Worldwide Brands, or with organizations like DHGate, remember to do your research.

Do your digging and find the company that works best for you. There are a lot to choose from.

Not every company works well with every drop shipper, and not every drop shipper requires the same things from its suppliers.

Indeed, we all know that dropshipping takes a lot of work. But by proceeding with caution, and taking your time, there are still many opportunities for success.
